You can opt out at any time by rejecting advertising cookies in our cookie banner, by visiting our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, or by adjusting personalized-ads settings with your advertising provider. See Sections 10 and 14 below for full details on advertising and analytics tracking.

7. Data Security
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered, or disclosed. These measures include encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, PCI-DSS compliant payment processing through our payment providers, and regular security assessments. We limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors, and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so. In the event of a data breach involving your personal information, we will notify affected individuals without unreasonable delay and within the timeframes required by applicable state and federal breach-notification laws. Notifications will describe the nature of the breach, the types of information involved, and the steps we are taking to address it.
8. Data Retention
We will only retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or reporting requirements. We may retain your personal data for a longer period in the event of a complaint or if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation in respect to our relationship with you.
For order data, we retain records for a minimum of 7 years to comply with tax and financial reporting obligations. For account data, we retain your information as long as your account remains active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

12. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)
Our website is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe we may have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at [email protected].
13. Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control
Do Not Track (DNT): Some browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” signal to websites. Because there is no common industry standard for interpreting DNT signals, our website does not currently alter its practices when it receives a DNT signal from your browser.
Global Privacy Control (GPC): We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information, as required by California law and other applicable state privacy laws. If your browser or device transmits a GPC signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal data and will disable non-essential cookies (analytics and marketing) accordingly.
14. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking Tools
Advertising and Conversion Tracking
We use third-party advertising and conversion-tracking tags on our website. These tags are small pieces of code that collect data about your visit — including your IP address, pages viewed, time spent on pages, referring URL, browser and device information, and conversion events (such as purchases or form submissions) — so that we can measure the performance of our advertising campaigns on third-party search and advertising networks and show you relevant ads.
These tags are only loaded after you provide consent through our cookie consent banner. If you reject advertising cookies or do not provide consent, the tags will not be activated and no data will be collected by the advertising provider.
You can opt out of personalized ads at any time through your advertising provider’s personalized-ads settings.
Consent-Based Tag Management
We use a consent-based tag-management approach to control how third-party tracking services interact with our website based on your cookie-consent preferences. When analytics or advertising consent is denied, these services operate in a privacy-preserving manner without storing cookies or collecting personal data.
Future Analytics Tools
If we introduce additional analytics or advertising tools in the future, this Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy will be updated before those tools are deployed, and you will be notified via our cookie consent mechanism.
15. Email Marketing
Ink and Scanners may send you transactional emails related to your orders (such as order confirmations, shipment notifications, and delivery updates). These are not considered marketing emails and are necessary for the performance of your purchase contract.
We do not currently operate any promotional email marketing campaigns, newsletters, or automated email sequences. We do not share your email address with any third-party email marketing services. If we introduce email marketing in the future, we will do so on a strictly opt-in basis and provide a clear unsubscribe mechanism in every email.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
